Bookmarks' Full Titles

(or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Verbosely-Titled Live Bookmarks)Shows bookmarks' entire titles rather than truncating them at an arbitrary length. It's mainly intended for Live Bookmarks that use verbose titles. To leave space for submenus, bookmarks in menus that unfold vertically still have their titles truncated, but they are somewhat wider than usual. This applies to the Bookmarks Menu, to any folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar, and to the Bookmarks Toolbar's overflow menu.

Supported Firefox versions: Firefox 1.5 - 3.0a1 ALL

Notes / Comments: This may or may not work on Mac OS X; buy me a Mac and I'll ensure that it does.If you already have Stylish installed, you may want to use Show Full Titles on Bookmarks – a user style that does the same thing as this – instead. But wait! The last time I checked, Show Full Titles on Bookmarks was only equivalent to version 1.2 of this extension. So this is 5/3 as good.Stylish:https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2108/Show Full Titles on Bookmarks:http://userstyles.org/style/show/484Or, if you just can't edit enough random text files, you can add the code to your userChrome yourself. The code itself lives here:http://userstyles.org/style/show/484#stylish-codeThe page explaining which random text file you get to edit:http://kb.mozillazine.org/userChrome.cssIf you don't want to waste your time thinking, just install the extension, and then use the time you've saved to make a cup of tea or something.
