versions: Firefox 1.5 - 2.0.0.* ALL
Notes / Comments: This utility extension monitors your cache statistics for both memory and disk devices, pulling the numbers straight from the same place that 'about:cache' does. You can also clear your cache by right-clicking on the statusbar panel and selecting the right option.NOTE: This extension does not have any influence on or from Firefox's own memory consumption in your OS. The reported statistics are entirely independent.NOTE2: A fresh profile usually doesn't have the RAM "maximum" capacity (stored in the browser.cache.memory.capacity preference), so you may see it blank. If so and if you set it to something, it will forever create that maximum, barring some prefs.js hacking of your own. Firefox does some sort of dynamic calculation if this isn't set, so use that with caution. In a future version, I may add a 'delete' button to the settings to restore it to "factory settings." You can also put in "-1" to give Firefox back the "reins."More Info: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.cache.memory.capacity0.7.0 has been released. I wasn't able to scrounge up all of the translations, so any non-American users may see US English in some of the settings. Feel free to submit translations directly or through Babelzilla.org. Thanks!Feel free to provide feedback at my email address or through the comments. Some comments talk about it not working - please try it with a fresh profile. If that doesn't work or you need help with that, contact me. If it does work, then it's most likely a conflict with one of your other extensions or themes. If you shoot me an email, I can help you figure it out.Thank you for checking it out!
