Clipboard-Save-As


Simulates right-click -> "save as" with an URL in the clipboard.



Supported Firefox versions: Firefox 1.0 - 2.0.0.* ALL

Notes / Comments: This extension is useful when you have an URL in your clipboard poiting to a file (for example, a movie clip) you want to save to your harddrive. Many times, just pasting the URL in the address bar will lead to Firefox opening it instead of giving you the option to save it. With Clipboard-Save-As, an option is added to the Tools menu that allows you to save the file to your harddrive. Just make sure the URL to the file is in your clipboard and then select "Save File from Clipboard".
