FireEncrypter is an Firefox extension which gives you encryption/decryption and hashing functionalities right from your Firefox browser, mostly useful for developers or for education & fun.The new FireEncrypter is ready! I read some people have a few issues with the clipboard. I implemented a clipboard function, which will be available in the next version, which also has a few buttons to overcome the copy/paste issue. Because it is about encryption, this takes very much care.I'll hope you enjoy this version. The next version will have even more features, to note a few:- Whirlpool hashing- Blowfish Enc./Dec.- Twofish Enc./Dec.Until then: thanks for the input, it is appreciated and taken care off.---------------Another nice note about encryption/decryption using the extension is that it uses JavaScript right out your browser, the sourcecode is viewable and this gives you the guarantee that there are no backdoors in the code, which some commercial software do have! Also, unlike encryption programs on the web, when using the extension from out your browser on your PC, no information is send through the internet, thus tampered data is impossible! this makes it a safe and trustworthy way to encrypt & decrypt.Currently i am busy to implement more ciphers, so it will have broader functions.
