Mozilla Handle/DOI Protocol Handler


The Handle/DOI Protocol Handler allows Firefox to resolve CNRI Handle (hdl) and Digital Object Identifier (doi) URIs.It accomplishes this by forwarding requests to one of two proxy servers:http://hdl.handle.net/ for hdl: URIshttp://dx.doi.org/ for doi: URIsThis is the common method of enabling browsers to resolve handles via HTTP.



Supported Firefox versions: Firefox 1.5 - 2.0.0.* ALL

Notes / Comments: This version has been updated to be compatible for Firefox 2.No changes to functionality have been made.
