PopupSound

Plays a sound when a pop-up window is blocked. You can also configure a sound for other events such as clicking on a link or downloading a file. You can specify your own sounds in the configuration window.

Notes / Comments: This extension is designed for those people who browse mostly academic websites and less indecent websites. Academic websites have far fewer popups and when they do it is usually legitimate popups. Therefore it is useful to know when a popup is undesirable blocked. However, the balance between both these extremes may not be tilted enough to warrant completely turning off the popup blocker.The advantage of having sound notification instead of relying on the information bar or the status-bar icons is that it does not divert your eyes away from the website content.
