Preferences Mover


Move preferences menus on Linux to where they belong on Windows (or vice versa).



Supported Firefox versions: Firefox 1.5 - 1.5.0.* ALL Thunderbird 1.5 - 1.5.0.* ALL

Notes / Comments: This will move all preference- or option-related menu items (and associated menu separators) from the default platform location to the location used on other platforms. For example, on Linux this will move Edit > Preferences to the Tools menu (and in Thunderbird will move Edit > Account Settings as well). Moved menus are currently not renamed.This has only been tested in Firefox and Thunderbird 1.5.0.1 on Linux; let me know if there are problems with it on Windows, because there shouldn't be. I make no guarantees as to whether or how this code will work on Macs as they have their own menu bar which may not handle modifications.
