Session Manager


Session Manager saves and restores the state of all windows - either when you want it or automatically at startup and after crashes. Additionally it offers you to reopen (accidentally) closed windows and tabs. If you're afraid of losing data while browsing - this extension allows you to relax...This extension replaces SessionSaver and Tab Mix Plus' session manager. It stores more data than both of them and should be more reliable in saving and restoring. Although it is not recommended to have more than one session related extension installed, Session Manager is compatible at least with Tab Mix Plus.



Supported Firefox versions: Firefox 2.0 - 3.0a3 ALL

Notes / Comments: TOOLBAR BUTTONS: To get easier access to session saving and restoring (and also to the list of recently closed tabs and windows), customize Firefox' toolbar and add the "Session Manager" (and the "Undo Close") button to it.FORM DATA SAVING: For privacy reasons, Session Manager doesn't save any form data on encrypted sites (https://...). If you prefer data safety over privacy, you can change this setting on the Advanced tab of Session Manager's Options.VERSION FOR FIREFOX 1.5: Session Manager 0.4.3 is the last version to work with Firefox 1.5. You can get it from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2324/history/ .COMPATIBILITY WITH TAB MIX PLUS: Session Manager will automatically disable the session manager built into Tab Mix Plus or more specifically it prevents TMP from disabling the SessionStore component built into Firefox 2.0+. Session Manager needs to do this to work.KNOWN ISSUES:1. Because of Firefox bug 366302 certain text fields won't be saved.
