versions: Firefox 1.5 - 2.0.0.* ALL
Notes / Comments: A user writes:"At first was going to rate it as zero stars, then I found that all I had to do was slide the tab-bar down. If anyone else is having problems, just move your mouse over the top of the tab bar & you will see the double-ended arrow to grab & drag the tab-bar down."To use a toolbar button for opening the panel, just right-click a toolbar, select Customize, and drag the "Traction" button from the opened palette.Firefox 1.5 has a somehow relevant option Tools/Options/Tabs/Force links that open new windows/to a new tab. To bring back "runaway" tabs, Firefox's ability to have "address" icons and tabs dragged between tab bars and different windows can be used.Displaying the panel elsewhere in the window and remembering its contents are things I might consider doing, but not too soon...Hold down Ctrl while clicking a link to open a new tab.To Andrew Barnert : Thanks for all the observations in your extensive review. You have already inspired some tweaks to the upcoming version. What you say about possible features and their pros and cons is in line with what I have been thinking about... For one, adding keyboard navigation might be difficult, nevertheless your idea for using digit keys is cool.
