Weekedit
Using the context menu, request MediaWiki operations through hyperlinks or selected texts.Weekedit supports any Wiki using MediaWiki engine, including Wikipedia. Two custom set of operations are yours to set.Weekedit implements tags (ex.: {{}}, [[]], '' ''), maps (given a word, change it for something else) and liners (short texts to paste within edited page). It supports placeholders (%1 is replaced by selected text).Weekedit works with Firefox version 1.5* and 2.0.*. Notes / Comments: - Weekedit now works under Linux and MacOS. Compared to the Windows version, the skin is different in many aspects, but the functions are working correctly to my knowledge. See the user's guide for more details.- Firefox 2.0 bugs (do not appear in Firefox 1.5.*) :-- The text found with the Find dialog is not highlighted, even if Weekedit positions the edition window correctly. If you click on the window scrolling bar, then the highlighting is visible.-- Accented characters are rendered correctly when captured from the keyboard. However, the display after that step is either bad or there is no rendering at all. And yes, I tried different string types (e.g., unichar, and wstring), with no difference.
