Yagitalk is a Firefox extension enabling the speaking - via speech synthesis - of the currently visited HTML page. Notes / Comments: Yagitalk XPI package - not bundled with Festival. Download and install one of the yagitalk-festival packages available from http://yagitalk.org/tr/yagitalk/wiki/DownloadFestivalWarning:Wrong settings of your sound system on Linux may result in Firefox freezing and/or disabled audio output for other applications when Yagitalk is running (this is not specific to Yagitalk, but also happens with Flash plugin audio output in Firefox). If you encounter this problem, try to configure your sound system to use Alsa and enable oss-emulation. Set the FIREFOX_DSP="aoss" parameter in your $HOME/.mozilla/firefox/rc or /etc/firefox/firefoxrc (on Debian/Ubuntu) to enable mixing.
